Volunteer Training

Advertise a Ringette event in your community with this poster. Includes action photo and room to post your event.

Brochures - Free
“Ringette…The Fastest Game on Ice “ - This color brochure includes general information on the game, age groups and levels of play offered in Saskatchewan. It also includes a brief history of the sport, programs and services of RAS and contact information. This is a very good promotional tool for parents, potential players and interested volunteers.

Bring-a-Friend Invitations and Brochures – Free
These event invitations and brochures will help local associations promote their “Bring-a-Friend” events. The invitations allow for local associations to add their detailed information on the back. The coordinated take-home brochures provide a general description of the game, age groups and levels of play offered within the province.

Videos – distributed on a lending basis.
A deposit of $10.00 per video is required prior to the videos being released from the office. Videos are loaned for a two-week period. Upon return of the videos undamaged and within the loaning period, the R.A.S. will return the $10.00 deposit.

"A Time to Remember”
Experience the fun, camaraderie, and electrifying feeling of the Canadian Ringette Championships. Two productions are available; the 2002 CRCs in Regina and the 1998 CRCs in Edmonton.

Promotional Video
This 8-minute video is a great introduction to Ringette. Produced in the 1998-99 season, it is narrarated by a member of the 1998 National Team. Footage from the Canadian Ringette Championships gives the viewer a taste of what ringette is all about. A great way to set your display or presentation apart from the rest.

Developmental Resources

Developmental Bunny Program - $12.00
An entry-level program designed to meet the developmental needs of 5-7 year olds just starting Ringette. It is designed to be used by coaches new to the sport.

Ringette Development Model - $17.00
This template for skill development in Ringette presents the basic skills of skating, ring-handling, goaltending and basic strategies of the game.

Ringette...The Fundamental Sport *REVISED*(by Larry Way) - $20.00 Designed for the rookie coach, this comprehensive manual will assist coaches with team management, on-ice instruction, mental training and preparing a team program. Numerous pictures and diagrams accompany the detailed text.

This five-part manual assists the organization, both new and experienced, in organizing and administering their programs. Sections include Administration, Public Relations and Marketing, House Leagues, Competitive Play and Hosting of Tournaments.

Written by National Team Goaltender and World Championship MVP Keely Brown, this manual gives a comprehensive breakdown of goaltending skills, form and techniques based on her 21 years of experience as a ringette goaltender.

Managers Certification Program - $22.00
This manual is designed as an educational tool for team Managers. After reading the manual, the Manager completes a test and submits it to Ringette Canada for evaluation. Upon successful completion, a certificate, crest and card are sent to the applicant.
